Accused Cop Killer Accomplice Enters 'Not Guilty' Pleas

THAT TEENAGE GIRL -- STANDING TRIAL, FOR THE MURDER OF A UTAH DEPUTY AND ATTEMPTED MURDER OF ANOTHER -- ENTERED "NOT GUILTY" PLEAS, IN A PROVO COURTROOM, MONDAY MORNING.

MEAGAN GRUNWALD, 17, FACES A DOZEN CHARGES, STEMMING FROM THE JANUARY CRIME SPREE... THAT CROSSED SEVERAL UTAH COUNTIES.

THE GIRL -- CHARGED AS AN ADULT -- IS THE ONLY SURVIVING SUSPECT IN THE POLICE CHASE AND SHOOTOUT.

PROSECUTORS SAY HER 27-YEAR-OLD BOYFRIEND FATALLY SHOT UTAH COUNTY SHERIFF'S SGT. CORY WRIDE AND WOUNDED ANOTHER DEPUTY.

BUT THEY CLAIM GRUNWALD WAS A WILLING PARTICIPANT IN THE EVENTS, INCLUDING A CARJACKING.

THERE WERE HINTS -- DURING THIS MORNING'S HEARING -- A PLEA DEAL COULD BE IN THE WORKS.
