Arrest Made in Tooele County Wildfire

TOOELE COUNTY AUTHORITIES HAVE ARRESTED A MAN, ACCUSED OF STARTING A WILDFIRE THAT BURNED THREE OUTBUILDINGS AND FORCED EVACUATIONS IN THE SMALL TOWN OF STOCKTON.

TIMOTHY WEST, 27, OF STOCKTON, WAS BOOKED INTO JAIL, WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

THE 180-ACRE BLAZE WAS 75-PERCENT CONTAINED, THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

EIGHT FAMILIES WERE STILL EVACUATED... BUT EXPECTED TO BE ALLOWED BACK INTO THEIR HOMES, BEFORE THE END OF THE DAY.

THE FIRE ALSO DAMAGED THE TOWN'S WATER TANK... SO THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY WILL BE WITHOUT DRINKABLE WATER UNTIL REPAIRS ARE MADE.
