First Major Snowstorm of the Season Snarls Northern Utah Commute

TIME FOR THE GLOVES AND SHOVELS.

SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES -- AND SEVERAL INCHES OF SNOW -- BLANKETED MUCH OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH TUESDAY MORNING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WAS EXPECTING 3 TO 10 INCHES OF SNOW ALONG THE WASATCH FRONT...AND WELL OVER A FOOT, IN CENTRAL UTAH.

THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO LINGER INTO WEDNESDAY, OR LONGER.
