Hurricane Man to Compete in Grueling Ironman Competition

A HURRICANE MAN WILL COMPETE IN THE "KONA IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP," OCTOBER 12TH.

AND IT WILL BE MORE OF A CHALLENGE FOR LYLE ANDERSON, THAN MOST.

SEVEN YEARS AGO, HE WAS DIAGNOSED WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS.

SINCE HIS MS DIAGNOSIS, ANDERSON HAS RUN SEVEN MARATHONS AND COMPETED IN FOUR 'HALF IRONMAN' COMPETITIONS.

HIS RACE IN HAWAII, IN THREE WEEKS, WILL BE HIS SECOND, FULL IRONMAN.

THE COMPETITION REQUIRES ATHLETES TO SWIM 2.4 MILES... BICYCLE 112 MILES...AND RUNNING A FULL 26-MILE MARATHON.
