Neglected Southern Utah Horse Found Alive, Frozen to the Ground

A SOUTHERN UTAH MAN WILL LIKELY FACE ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES, AFTER POLICE RESCUED HIS TWO HORSES FROM FREEZING CONDITIONS.

AUTHORITIES ARE CALLING IT ONE OF THE WORST CASES THEY'VE EVER SEEN -- SAYING ONE OF THE STARVING ANIMALS WAS ACTUALLY STUCK...FROZEN TO THE GROUND.

GINGER GRIMES -- WHO RUNS A CEDAR CITY HORSE SANCTUARY -- IS NOW ASSISTING WITH THEIR CARE, AND EXPECTS THE ANIMALS TO RECOVER.

THE HORSES' OWNER IS EXPECTED TO BE CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF ANIMAL NEGLECT.

AUTHORITIES SAY THESE WERE THE ONLY TWO ANIMALS ON THE PROPERTY, OUTSIDE CEDAR CITY.
