Three Salt Lake Banks Robbed in as Many Hours

IT WAS A RECORD-BREAKING DAY FOR SALT LAKE POLICE... AND NOT ONE THEY WANT TO SEE AGAIN.

DETECTIVE VERONICA MONTOYA SAYS, THREE DIFFERENT BANKS WERE ROBBED... ALL WITHIN A 3-AND-A-HALF HOUR PERIOD.

ONLY ONE OF THE SUSPECTS BRANDISHED A WEAPON AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

THE FIRST ROBBERY OCCURRED AT 14TH SOUTH, FOOTHILL DRIVE... THE SECOND, AT 7TH SOUTH AND STATE... AND THE THIRD, NEAR 12TH EAST, 30TH SOUTH.

ALL THREE SUSPECTS ARE DESCRIBED AS WHITE MALES.  BUT THEY RANGE IN HEIGHT, FROM 5-FOOT-8 TO 6-FOOT-3.

AND ONE MAN IS BELIEVED TO BE IN HIS 50'S... ANOTHER IN HIS EARLY 20'S.
